Cecelia & Andrew’s Garden Wedding at the Jeremiah Lee Mansion

When Cecelia and Andrew approached me about planning and designing their Boston-North Shore wedding set against the backdrop of the historic Jeremiah Lee Mansion, I knew it would be one that I would not soon forget. Bride Cecelia brought forth of a vision fof a whimsical garden party, a bision which I was thrilled to bring to life.

Teaming up with the exports at Peak Event Services, Nuage Designs, Boston Event Divas and Flower Walls Boston, Marissa Pedone Events embarked on a journey to transform the venue into a haven of elegance and charm. The grounds were adorned with stunning white hydrangeas ensconced in stone vessels, accented by the flickering glow and soft illuminiation of overhead bistro lighting and paper lanterns courtesy of The Event Company.

As fate would have it, the day unfolded beneath the veil of torrential downpours (like every other summer wedding of 2023), yet Cecelia and Andrew refused to let anything dampen their special day. While the ladies indulged in a morning of pampering with Miriam Meza Beauty and Make Up by Tracy O’Donnell, the groomsmen sought solace and camaraderie in the jovial atmosphere of a local pub. Throughout the challenges posed by the weather, the couple remained steadfast in their positivity, entrusting our team to navigate the day with grace and poise.

The ceremony, full of intimacy and warth, was performed by the groom’s brother, accompanied by the Fenway Quartet as they serenaded guests while the wedding party made their entrance.

In a spontaneous turn of events (albeit one we were used to by this point in the season), cocktail hour transitioned from the shelter of the ceremony tent to the welcoming embrace of the reception area, a seamless progression facilitated by the swift action of Vinwood Caterers.

Undeterred by the change in plans, Rebecca Cee Photography ensured that every detail shot was captured with precision and artistry, honoring moments that may otherwise have slipped away with the passage of time.

Guests were greeted at cocktail hour with a lush green champagne wall, providing respite frm the bustling bar. Signature cocktail signage paid homage to the couple's beloved pug, Ollie, whose adorable face graced custom koozies scattered throughout the venue. Personalized oyster shells doubled as both seating assignments and cherished keepsakes, a testament to the couple's thoughtfulness and attention to detail.

The American Midnight beckoned guests to the dance floor, where they danced the night away beneath the glow of twinkling lights, occasionally pausing to capture lighthearted moments in the embrace of the C Zone Entertainment photobooth.

As laughter filled the air and memories were woven into the fabric of the night, Cecelia and Andrew's wedding became not just a celebration of love, but a testament to the enduring magic of unity and joy.
